( 10:19 PM )
My life as in OCIP-ian started out with tremendous expectation and jubilation. I was glad to make 33 new friends though some have left OCIP. We have been through many activities together, some tiring, some boring, some totally useless. But fate brought us together out of the many hundreds and we have all created a bond with each other whether positively or negatively. SIA carnival...SCS family day...SCS students outing... meetings... we have been through it. Its 5 days left to the trip! Let’s treasure all the memories created and make a splash in Vietnam! WHAT A BIG FAMILY! I wonder who the parents are.
Special thanks to
• Jonathan, Ravin, Simin, Ian, Janelle (leaders) – they have been a great lot to work with although we do have arguments but thanks a lot mates
• Everyone else (members) – without all 28 of you, OCIP would be meaningless. It has been fun working with you all... hopefully more as an Innovian, a friend than a boss.
• Ms Lin, Mr Yip, Mr Wong, Mr Lim – thanks for everything. Thanks for the trust especially. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to lead the group (to the abyss).
• Genevieve (Secretary) - it’s tiring to work with her. She’s in OCIP, my class, my PW group. However, she does her job well and I am sure many of us will agree. Definitely, without her... fill in yourself... thanks for everything.
• Hong Yu – a phrase by him “the stars only comes out when the night gets dark”. Similarly, even in dark times, there’s still hope and light

"In good times, in bad times I'll be on your side forever more, that's what friends are for."
- "That's what friends are for"
I am not exactly looking forward to the trip but rather I am looking forward to helping people, making new friends and bonding with my friends. OCIP has impacted my life and acted as a support to my worst year ever after losing my Grandfather, my laptop, my desktop information.... It made me feel strong enough to fight my disease and to fight my pain. It helped me to settle down into IJC which was a total different culture from ACS (br) and changed a lot of my attitudes, some good some bad. If given a second opportunity, I would rather be a team player. Thanks OCIPians!
