My turn!
Alright I have to say that I feel real blessed to work with you guys for the past few months. Period.
To think about it, I guess these few months of activities and CIP planned out for us actually help us to understand each other better, to have a better picture of everyone's strengths and weaknesses, everyone's character and personality, everyone's work rate, and most importantly, everyone's attitude towards working with people that might be totally different from each and everyone of us.
I believe the past few community projects that we have been involved in have certainly helped bring out the worst and best in us. What's most important i guess, is that we give our 110% for the less privilege over at Ho Chi Minh, to make a greater impact in their lives, and for us to remember how fortunate and blessed we are as Singaporeans.
Of course, there are people who rise up to the occasion when needed, or even people who have contributed in one way or another, to OCIP VOICE. To Melvin and Ian especially, for leading the entire OCIP family throughout these past few months, for guiding us through the tasks. For people such as Rahimah, Wenling, Lelia and Simin, who have contributed in helping me design and do up the OCIP tees and windbreaker. To my logistics team, sorry if i wasted your time at ikea that day HAHA! The meatballs were great though! Of course our 4 'lovely' teachers, for being there to facilitate our meetings, and giving us useful tips!
There will always be the good times and the bad times, but as long as we are able to put aside our differences and work towards our common goal, nothing is impossible. By putting aside our differences and working together with our strengths, we'll certainly give the kids over there a time that they'll never forget.
'Touching Hearts', why not?
